Race registration will be on Friday 20^th September 2013: All those going to the registration should use the car park at the rear of Manx Harrier’s club house entering from the entrance at the side of the Quarterbridge Hotel.
Do NOT park on the perimeter roadway inside the NSC.

The organising committee have been asked on a number of occasions why someone who is 20 years old on race day may walk 32 miles in the Parish Walk but only 22 in the End To End Walk, both races for U21 finishing at Peel.

We therefore looked into the rules governing this and, after review, have taken the decision to lower the minimum age for competitors wishing to complete the entire 39.22 miles to those who are 20 years old or over on the day of the race.
This change is in line with UKA and IAAF rules which state that those who are under 20 years old on race day cannot continue beyond 50k (31 miles).

Competitors can only be in one team (i.e. not men’s, mixed, husband & wife and/or corporate all at the same time, for example).

The prize presentation evening will be held at the British Legion by the harbour in Douglas on Wednesday September 25th. The evening will commence at 19:30 and will be compered by Dot Tilbury.

All competitors attending will receive a certificate of achievement for the race and there will also be age group, team and individual trophies given out on the night.
